John L. “Jack’ Trexler 70 of Jordan formerly of Plainville passed away Monday at Auburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Fulton, Jack was a 1965 graduate of Baker High School, Baldwinsville. He served in the US Air Force from 1965 to 1969 when he was honorably discharged. Jack formerly was employed in sales at Inland Supply Inc.
He was a former member of the Plainville Vol. Fire Dept. Jack was an active volunteer with the American Red Cross and chair of its Disaster Action Team.
Surviving are a son Keith (Julie) Trexler, 4 grandchildren Colby, Blake, Cameron, & Kylee, 6 sisters Sandra Crolick, Roberta Griener, Beverly Kick, Joan Turner, Susan Kick, Bonnie Shanning, 2 brothers William and twin James Trexler, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be 11:30 am Saturday in Plainville Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Duger officiating. Contributions may be made to the Plainville Fire Dept.
