John R. Farnham 71 of Camillus passed away on Jan 22nd at Upstate University Hospital with family and friends by his side. Born in Memphis, NY to Zaida Herne, John lived most of his life in the Camillus area. John was a tough and indestructible man. Losing a leg in a car accident did not slow him down. John was an EMT with the Memphis Fire Dept. for 20 years, a proud veteran of the US Navy and he worked as a tree trimmer at Niagara Mohawk for over 15 years. John enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses and doing anything and everything with his son and brother. Predeceased by his son John Farnham, he leaves behind his pride and joy son Jonathan Farnham, his brother and best friend Clive Herne (Darlene), five grandchildren, and nephews John Herne (Lisa), Christopher Herne (Hester), niece Erika Sheets (fuzzy friend Munch) and many beloved friends, especially Vicki Ling.

Calling hours will be 1-4 pm Sunday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge.

Funeral service will be 10:30am Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Arthur George officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Memphis Fire Dept.
