Arthur M. TenEyck 85 of Jordan passed away Sunday at St. Camillus Residential Health Care Facility with his wife of 47 years by his side. He was born in Jordan, the son of Stanley TenEyck Sr. and Dorothy Hart TenEyck. Arthur served in the US Air Force during the Korean War from 1950-1954.He was a member of the Cato American Legion and the VFW and for many years as he was able, participated in the commemoration services preceding the annual Jordan Memorial Day parade. He was a member of the Jordan Old Boys. Art retired from Alcatel-Lucent and later worked for some years as custodian at the Jordan-Elbridge School District. Arthur was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a lifelong New York Yankees fan and he enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks and Edgewater campgrounds prior to his long illness. Surviving are his wife Sandra Naster TenEyck, son Kyle TenEyck (fiancé Amanda Sandberg), daughter Amy TenEyck (fiancé Shane Pascal) grandsons Brandon Meyers and Gavin TenEyck, brother Stanley TenEyck, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 10 am Saturday in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Friday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Arthur’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus for the wonderful and attentive care he received.
