Albert L. Bardo 86 of formerly of Jacks Reef passed away February 3rd in Nashville, TN.  Born June 27, 1929 in Syracuse, Al lived in Central New York before moving to Antioch, TN.  He served in the US Army. Al worked for New York Central/Penn Central/Conrail for 45 years. He was a life member of the Plainville Fire Department and a member of the Jordan-Elbridge Band Boosters. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Fishing was a favorite pastime. Al was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Viola Bardo, 2 sons Scott and Stephen Bardo, 2 brothers Robert and Charles, and 2 sisters Shirley Zackowski and Elizabeth “Betty” Basile.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years Joanne Bardo, children Sandra (Steve) Look of Port Byron, Sharie Bardo of Antioch, TN, Sean Bardo of Smyrna, TN, Sheryl (Jeremy) Ivy of Mt. Juliet, TN, 2 grandson Lucas Bardo and Landen Ivy, 1 granddaughter Haiden Ivy, his sister Kate (Carl) Campbell of Tampa, his brothers John (Doris) Bardo of Baldwinsville and John Ferguson of Memphis, several nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Friday May 6th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be 10am Saturday in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Jordan.
