Pauline E. “Polly” Poire 88 formerly of Elbridge passed away Wednesday at Auburn Nursing Home. Born in Franklin, NH, Polly moved to Elbridge in 1962. She was the widow of Arthur L. Poire Sr. who died in 2010. 

Polly retired in 1989 after 20 years at Welch Allyn. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan and a former President the Women’s Guild.

Surviving are a son Arthur (Kelley) Poire, Jr., 3 daughters Brenda (Roger) Clemons, Rose (Wally) Kline, and Anna (Doug) Phillips, her brother Elmer (Irene) Woodward, sister-in-law Irene Lowell, brother-in-law Roland (Lorraine) Poire, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am Wednesday in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5 ) Elbridge.
