Joan M. Unger 78 of Jordan passed Thursday into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Born in Syracuse, Joan lived in the Jordan-Elbridge community since 1980. She was the widow of Robert K. Unger who died in 2006. Joan was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Elbridge.

Surviving are a son Steven (Debra) Johnson, 4 stepchildren, Michael, Don, Robert and Brenda, a brother Asa Turner, a sister Marion Cook, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces,nephews and special friends Tim & Mary Rickard

Services will be 11am Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge with Pastor Eric Richards officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Tuesday at the funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, Auburn.
