Edward N. Thomas Jr. 63 of Memphis passed away at home Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.  Born in Rome, ET lived in Solvay before moving to the Town of Elbridge in 2013. After 22 years of service with the Village of Solvay DPW, he retired Sept. 2014. Following high school, he joined the Marines (Semper Fi) during the Vietnam War. ET was a former member of the Solvay Volunteer Fire Dept., a Charter Member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter NY14, member of ABATE of Onondaga County, and President of the Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club. He especially enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife by his side.

He was predeceased by his parents Edward N. Thomas and Marilyn Masimani and his sister Laura Coyne.

Surviving are his wife Dana Baker Thomas, daughters by marriage Mackenzie (Casey) Ostrander of Baldwinsville and Melissa (Thomas) Redmon of Syracuse, 2 sisters Debra (Jeffrey) Mauser of CA and Nancy Thomas of CT. niece Danielle Coyne of Syracuse, nephews Sean (Tonya) Thomas of Camillus, and David Thomas of CT, , sister in law and brother in law Colette and Rodney Richardson, two grandchildren Amelia and Elise Ostrander, and his 6 cats Nougat, Uno, Maggie, Lewis, Thunder Dome, & Harley.
