I was very sorry to hear about Bill Sloan's passing. He was a good, kind, intelligent, literate man; in short, the kind of man the world needs more of. I will really miss bumping into him at the Elbridge Post Office, as we used to do at least a couple of times a week, and exchangling pleasantries with him. If there's anything I can do to help out those he left behind, all they have to do is give me a call or send me an email.

So sorry to see the passing of your father. I knew him as Dr. Sloan. I met him as a young new teacher of Reading. He hired me and I spent the next 32 years in the North Syracuse District. He was an intelligent, kind man. I knew your mother, Wini, too as a secretary in the Elbridge district,where I worked as a migrant tutor. Both were special people and touched my young career as an educator.
I am sorry for your loss,yet I know they are both now united again.
