August 12, 1975 — February 18, 2026
Rylan Edward Tymensen, age 50, born August 12, 1975, passed away leaving behind a legacy of service, strength, and deep devotion to family and friends
A proud graduate of C.W. Baker High School in 1993, Rylan answered the call to serve his country immediately after graduation. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably from 1993 to 1997 as a Heavy Machine Gunner- During his service, he held a special billet in Security Forces, a role that reflected both his discipline and the trust placed in him. Rylan carried the values of honor, courage, and commitment with him throughout his life.
After completing his military service, Rylan pursued higher education with the same determination he brought to the Marines. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Southern Indiana in 2001. Continuing to build on his passion for leadership and business, he later received his MBA in Business Management from Indiana University.
Rylan had a talent for humor at the most opportune moments, a smile that could not hide the sarcasm, and a contagious laugh that could break any mood. Rylan's sense of adventure was epic, as was his deep respect and appreciation for nature's beauty especially the Rocky Mountains and the American West, inspired by his unique and rugged childhood in Wyoming.
Rylan was known for his steady strength, loyalty, and unwavering love for those closest to him. He is survived by his loving mother, Kathleen Timerson, of Jordan, NY; his sisters, Michelle Sullivan of Heath, Ohio, and Dense Beall of Saint Paris, Ohio; as well as cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Cynthia Marie Timerson, whom he dearly loved, and by his father, Edward Louis Timerson.
Rylan's life was one of service, perseverance, adventure, and devotion. Rylan, loved so very much, will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever honored by all who had the privilege of knowing him-
Rite of Committal and burial will be 10am Monday, May 11, 2026 in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, S. Hamilton St. Jordan.
