Roy Albert

Roy Albert, 89, of Warners passed away Monday, October 19th surrounded by his loving family.  He spent his career as an asbestos worker of the Heat and Frost Insulators Union Local 30.  He was a Navy Veteran.  Roy enjoyed spending time with his wife, playing softball, watching his grandchildren play sports and school activities, hosting family clambakes, going to the Farmers Market, gardening, attending West Genesee, SUlacrosse and Syracuse Chiefs games, but above all, loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Roy was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church where he and his wife volunteered their time for the food pantry.  He also was a Red Cross blood donor.

Roy is predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Louise Albert, brothers Bob, Art, Ray, Jim and sister Betty.

Surviving are daughters Joan (Fred) Powers and Joyce (Tom) Pritchard; sons Joseph (Anne), Jerry (Judy) and Jeffrey (Donna).  Also, grandchildren Melissa, Justin, Bradley, Ashley, Laura, Andrew, Brittany, Ryan, Christie and Nicki; great-grandchildren Madison, Paxton, Harrison, Harper, Wells and Lyndon; and many nieces and nephews.
