Roger D. Robedee, 91, passed away June 6, 2025. He was born in Auburn, New York on May 4, 1934, to the late Floyd and Twila (Barber) Robedee. He was predeceased by his brother, David. Roger graduated from Elbridge Central School and was a longtime resident of the Jordan-Elbridge area. Roger belonged to the EL Club 20; served our Nation in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked as a telephone lineman for over 35 years with New York Telephone, AT&T and Verizon. Roger enjoyed farming, the outdoors, attending DIRT car racing, and was an avid craftsman. He was always quick with a joke and a smile.
Upon retirement from the phone company, Roger and his wife, Ann, enjoyed winters in the south. Together they spent 30 years traveling various states and enjoyed their Florida residence. In addition to his loved ones, he also cherished the companionship of his dog.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Ann, children Mary Anne (Brian), Jeffrey of Weedsport, Robert (Sanjuana) of Texas, Gail of Jordan, Lynn Kinney (Michael) of Jordan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roger’s name to the Jordan Fire Department, 1 N. Hamilton Street, Jordan, New York 13080 or a charity of your choosing.
No calling hours. A private graveside service with military honors will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Elbridge at the family’s convenience.
