Roger P. Monica, 80, of Jordan, NY passed away on 9/8/2024 at Auburn Community Hospital. Born August 17, 1944, in Syracuse, he was the son of Jesse and Elma Monica. 

He was an avid deer hunter, built his own home, and participated in many car shows. After retiring from the Local 31 Painters Union, he enjoyed the outdoors, working on small engine repair, and having coffee at the B’ville Diner.

He is pre-deceased by his mother and father, his siblings Robert Monica, Edward Monica, Martha Powers, and Eugene Monica, Sr. and his stepson Lucas Cleary. 

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vicky Hoan Monica of Jordan; his sisters Barbara (James) Church of California, Betty Brown of Cato, and Janet Monica of North Carolina; his son Roger (Aimee) Monica, Jr. of Jordan; his stepsons Jeffrey Ceratt, Jr. of Weedsport and Leonard Cleary of Pennellville; his grandchildren Devin, Hailee, and Ethan Monica, his step-grandchildren Jeffrey Ceratt III, Jeremy Ceratt, Ashlyn Cleary, and Avery Cleary; several nieces and nephews; and his amazing friends.

Calling hours will be 2-4pm Sunday, September 15th, at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St., Elbridge.
