Rodney Stuart Brehaut Obituary

Rodney Stuart Brehaut, 80, of Elbridge passed away on September 29, 2024. Born in Totton, a parish of Hampshire, England on November 28, 1943 to Bert and Helene Brehaut, Rod immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1952 with his family and then to Utica, New York in 1957 where Rod attended Utica Free Academy. 


Rod enjoyed staying physically active including golfing, walking, and going to the gym. He loved to visit his favorite place in the Adirondacks, Lake Vanare, where he made many vacation memories with his family for over 40 years. Rod had an avid interest in the weather and enjoyed giving the latest weather reports to anyone who would listen. 


Rod is survived by his children Scott Brehaut (Laura) of Clinton, Matthew Brehaut of Memphis, Michele Hager (Jeff) of Memphis, and Joanna Kufs (Jason) of Auburn, grandchildren Ian, Ella, Andrew, Billy, James, Carly, Thomas, and Ollie, and his sister, Diana Elefante.
