Bob started his truck driving career in 1968 driving a truck locally and over the road for 30+ years at Roth Brothers Smelting in East Syracuse until they closed, he then went on to work for WeCare in Weedsport until his retirement in 2009.
Bob remained on the farm that his father and mother built enjoying a life surrounded by horses, cows, ducks, chickens, and pigs. He left the farm shortly after retirement until two years ago when he moved in with his son on his farm where he then enjoyed the animals from a different perspective, he could now just watch the sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, geese and many other animals run and play. You could find him on the front porch in the summer enjoying the weather or even in the winter all bundled up enjoying them all, of course he liked to watch the cars and motorcycles go by as well.
If you knew Bob, you know he was a great man loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
