Robert J. Benson

Robert J. Benson, 75, of Weedsport passed away a home surrounded by loving family. Born in Syracuse, Bob lived in Memphis before moving to Weedsport. He was a 1967 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School. He retired from Syracuse Pottery where he was a warehouse supervisor. Prior to Syracuse Pottery, he worked at Coca Cola distribution center.

Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Aimlee and Chris McConnell, daughter Jennifer Berg and daughter Kimberly Brauchle, grandchildren Cassidy, Christina, Alyssa, Morgan, Gracie, Eric, Billy, Lane, and one great granddaughter Scarlet.

Private graveside services will be in Belle Isle Cemetery in the spring.  Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
