Richard G. Westcott

Richard G. Westcott, 88, of Jordan passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023 in University Hospital. He retired from the Jordan Elbridge School District where he was employed as a custodian.  Dick was a member of the Jordan Fire Department and a former member of the Elbridge Fire Department. He was a past president of the Onondaga County Fire Police Association and a former Chaplain of the Baldwinsville American Legion Post 113. He was predeceased by his daughter Diane Phillips in 2015 and his wife Viola in 2019.  

Surviving are sons James (Candy) Westcott and John (Shelly) Westcott, daughters Janet (Jeff) Lazore and Susan (Jamie) Coyle, his sister Marylou Carpenter, and several grandchildren.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday, Feb.8th at the Bush Funeral 120 E. Main St. Elbridge. Graveside services will be 11am Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
