Patrick Joseph McNeill, age 80, passed away peacefully, July 22, 2025 at the Commons on St Anthony. Born in Auburn, NY, he was predeceased by his parents, Ruth Scanlon McNeill and Henry McNeill; his brother William McNeill; his sister Ellen McNeill; his brothers-in-law Ken Fenton, William Solomon, Gary Place; and his nephew Bryan Place.

Patrick attended Mount Carmel school in Auburn and proudly served in the Marine Reserves. He went on to build a career as a journeyman plumber. He spent many years living out west but returned to Auburn in his later years to be closer to his beloved family.

He is survived by his children, Kelly Scoville and Ryan (Judith) Scoville; and his grandson, Lucas Scoville. He also leaves behind his loving siblings: Martha Fenton, Veronica Solomon, Kathleen (Ed) McLaughlin, Regina Place, Mary (Joe) Mannion, Michael McNeill, and Henry (Nancy) McNeill; and sisters-in-law Margaret Albin and Susan McNeill.

Patrick was a proud uncle to many nieces and nephews: Martin Fenton, Dan Fenton, Jim Fenton, Chris McLaughlin, Colleen Nutter, Larry McLaughlin, John McLaughlin, Christine Place, William Solomon, Patrick Solomon, Timothy Solomon, Erinn Prebil, Kylah Klinge, Liam McNeill, and Kayley Brim.

Patrick will be remembered for his deep love of family and his quiet strength. His wit, wisdom, and warmth will be dearly missed.

A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Saturday, August 2nd in St. Patrick Church, N. Main St. Jordan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Patrick by taking time to be with your loved ones — just as he always made time for his. Donations can be made to St. Patrick Church Restoration Fund.
