Nathan S. Chambers of Warners, NY passed away on July 24, 2026 at home with his loving family. Nathan's career spanned 35 years in the transportation industry as an over the road truck driver. The sacrifice and time away was great but was made to insure his family was taken care of. After his children grew and left home, his wife joined him for 10 years as team drivers, experiencing this beautiful country one mile at time. He retired from the road and settled into a retirement job with Onondaga County Department of Transportation as a highway maintenance worker. Nathan lived his life unapologetically. He never shied away from hard work and always played just as hard. He loved cooking for his family and friends, whether it be a simple Sunday dinner or massive barbeques burning down the back yard. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing either from the bank or the boat and making everything into an adventure with his “go big or go home” way. Taken too soon, he will be missed greatly by all he considered family or friend. Preceding Nathan in death is his father James Chambers, mother Ina Chambers, sister Melissa Meddley. He is survived by his wife Elaine Chambers, his children Erin Chambers, Samuel Chamber, Andrew Chambers (Nicole), five grandbabies (Charlotte, Adam, Kaylynn, Kayden, and Bennett), his brothers James Chambers (Tinh), Shaun Chambers, and sister Mary Chambers. The family will be holding a celebration of life at the family homestead 6771 East Dead Creek Road, Warners noon to 4PM Saturday, August 8, 2026. He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Nathan's name to Hospice of CNY. https://www.hospicecny.org Nathan Chambers 6771 E. Dead Creek Rd. Warners, NY 13164
