Mary K. (Major) Hart, 67, of Jordan, NY passed away August 28th, 2024. Survived by parents Tom and Bev Major, husband Gary, children Elizabeth (RJ Murray), Kevin (Amy), Matt (Kay Stauffer); grandchildren Robert IV, Oliver, Allison, and Delaney; siblings John (Ruth), Mike, Terry, Peggy, and Patti; nieces and nephews and family. Mary worked at Welch Allyn-Hillrom-Baxter for 48yrs in administrative roles supporting the sales & marketing team. Mary loved the Adirondacks, hiking 20 of New York’s highest Mountains including Marcy twice. Mary was diagnosed with gall bladder cancer in May 2023. Her final days were spent with loving, caring support at Matthew House. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Thursday Sept. 5th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. Elbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Friday, Sept 6th in St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers Mary has requested donations be made to Matthew House 43 Metcalf Drive (Auburn), St. Patrick Church (Jordan), or Jordan Fire Dept.
