Mary Kathryn (McQueeney) Desimone

Mary Kathryn (McQueeney) Desimone, 80, of Auburn passed away Dec. 5, 2023 from Lewy Body Dementia. Mary was born to William R. and Veronica McQueeney in Auburn on April 25, 1943. She is predeceased by her parents, as well as her son Gordon F. McLaughlin Jr. She is survived by her son Steve McLaughlin, daughter Amy (Todd) Foster, granddaughters Hannah and Amanda Foster, and siblings Elizabeth (James) Perkins and David McQueeney. Mary worked as a civilian receptionist at the 152 Air Operations Group in Syracuse for several years until her retirement. She loved reading, shopping, and spending time with her family. She adored her granddaughters, and she was an amazing grandmother. Services will be private and with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Elbridge. Donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation or a local animal shelter.
