Marny T. (Taylor) Gage

 Marny Louise Taylor Gage, 54, of Memphis (Jacks Reef) passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2021. Marny was born Dec. 17, 1966 in Auburn, NY and was raised by her wonderful parents with her 9 siblings in Skaneateles, NY. She graduated from Skaneateles High School in 1985.

 Marny met her husband, Jeff, in 1991. They got married in 1994 and bought their house in Jacks Reef in 1996. In 2000, Marny and Jeff had their daughter, Ashleigh.

Marny was a loving wife and mother. She had many passions during her career, including being a caregiver, a housekeeper, and a lunch lady. She was always striving to take care of those around her in any way she could. Her favorite job, though, was being a stay at home Mom.

Marny was undeniably a beautiful soul. She was always welcoming and loved hugs. She was a mother to Ashleigh, but was a mother figure to many.

Marny is predeceased by her mother and father, Ellen Gibbons Taylor and Robert C. Taylor, as well as her older sister and husband, Eileen and Peter Duttweiler.

Marny is survived by 8 siblings, along with their spouses, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved. She is also survived by her step daughter, Leighann (Felix) Gonzalez, her step son Jobi (Kati) Gage, their 3 children, her husband, Jeffrey Gage, daughter, Ashleigh Gage, her in laws, Al and Carolyn Gage, and Jeff’s 4 siblings and spouses. Her husband and daughter will be holding a Celebration of Life on July 31st at Skaneateles Falls Legion from 1-5 pm. All who loved and cared for Marny are welcome. A private service will be held at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church.
