Marlene G. (Kellogg) Foote

Marlene G. Foote, 87, passed away January 27, 2022. She was born on June 2, 1934, in Jacks Reef to the late Harry and Dorothy (Duffy) Kellogg. She graduated from Jordan Central School and was a longtime resident of Jordan. Marlene greeted patients and served as an administrative professional in Dr. Donald Tulloch’s Skaneateles office for several years.

Upon retirement, Marlene and her husband, Dick, moved to The Villages in Florida. Marlene spent over twenty years enjoying the “friendliest hometown you know” with friends playing golf, arranging neighborhood parties, socializing over afternoon ice teas at Dunkin Donuts and numerous poolside games of Phase 10. She loved hosting and spending time with friends and family who visited. Marlene and Dick returned to central New York in November 2021.

Marlene is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard; children Michael (Betsy) and Lisa Hamilton (Steve); grandchildren Chris (Aly), Brandon (Meghan), Matt (Meg) and Kevin (Nichole); and five great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Marlene was pre-deceased by her brother Richard Kellogg and sister Dolores (Kellogg) Clifton.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 24th, 4-7:00pm at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5), Elbridge. A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Jordan on Wednesday, May 25th at 1:00pm. The family invites family and friends to a reception in Marlene’s honor at The Mill Stone Golf Course (354 Route 5 West, Elbridge, NY) immediately following the graveside service.
