Marilyn J. McLaughlin Obituary

Marilyn J. McLaughlin, 90, of Jordan, NY passed away on December 17, 2022 at Auburn Community Hospital. She most recently resided at the Finger Lakes Center for Living, Auburn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. Gumaer and Mary (Drogalis) Gumaer. Marilyn was a graduate of Jordan High School and retired from McQuay, Auburn, NY. She was predeceased by her children Jodyne Emerson, Thomas McLaughlin, and William McLaughlin and brother, Robert Gumaer. She is survived by her son, Michael (Colleen) McLaughlin of Elbridge and daughter, Karen McLaughlin. She is also survived by four granddaughters Erin Eller, Michelle Emerson, Lisa Tavernia, and Jennifer Smith and nine great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at the Finger Lakes Center for Living for the wonderful care she received and friends she made during her time there. The family would also like to thank the Emergency Room staff at Auburn Community Hospital for their compassion at her time of passing. Viewing is on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4-7pm at Bush Funeral Home, 120 East Main St. Elbridge, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10am at St. Patrick’s Church, 28 N. Main St. Jordan, NY. Contributions can be made to St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan, NY.
