Marian (Quirk) Cooper

Marian Quirk Cooper, age 87, passed away on Feb 6, 2025 in Syracuse, NY. Marian was born Feb 2, 1938 in Derby, CT and grew up in nearby Milford.

A lover of good books, good mysteries, and a good drink, she was always up for the next adventure. Marian was an office manager, restauranteur, Peace Corps volunteer, teacher, and poet.

Marian is survived by her son Jeffrey (Micaela) Cooper, daughter Tamara Eveno, and grandchildren Kenyon, Blaine, Marian, and Joanna.

She donated her remains to the SUNY Upstate Anatomical Gift Program. Her friends and family will gather for a celebration of her life in the coming months.
