Marguarette P. Michel also known as Marnie Ely passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle crash Thursday evening July 20th   

Marnie lived in Cicero N.Y. She was born in Auburn, N.Y. at Auburn Memorial Hospital, She grew up and attended school in Jordan-Elbridge N.Y

Marnie was predeceased by George Ely (Father) and Constance Abrams (Mother) She's survived by her 5 children Ashly Bandera (Jake), Taylor Sauginas, Elizabeth Jetty, Haley Michel, Jayden Michel, her four grandchildren Derek, Camron, Amiliah, and Aaliyah Bandera, her 6 siblings John Ely (Tammy) Arleen Ely, Ron Ely (Ashley) Michelle Young (Paul) Dawn Riley (Ely) Mike Ely. She's also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.

Marnie was adventurous, charismatic, and the brightest light in any room. Family was the most important thing in her life, always having her doors open. She worked as a home health aide extending her love and care to other families in need. Marnie will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be 3-6pm Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023 at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St.(Rt. 5) Elbridge. A date and time for a Celebration of Life will be announced.
