Louise Ann Goodrich Obituary
In Loving Memory of Louise Ann “Trudy” Goodrich
Louise Ann “Trudy” Goodrich, age 78, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025.
Born and raised in Jordan-Elbridge, Louise — known to so many as “Trudy” — later made her home in Baldwinsville, New York, where she built a life full of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories for everyone lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her brother Paul Goodrich Jr. and her beloved children: Dawn M. Goodrich (Pierce), Todd Cotter Sr. (Audrey Cotter), and Mindy Cotter.
Louise was especially devoted to her grandchildren Christopher Goodrich (Kayla Belles) , Stephanie Goodrich (Joey Buonagurio) and Betty Pierce (Jordan Brown) who shared an extraordinary bond with her and were a constant presence in her life.
She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Matthias Brier, Savannah Cotter (Cable), Jacob Cotter, Alex Nedza, Todd Cotter Jr., Brennan Guillery (Rachael), Olivia Cotter (Brandon), and Tyler Cotter, and the most devoted great-grandmother to 11 precious great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her step-children Clinton Pierce Jr. and Brandy Pierce.
Louise is lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, including Jonathan Goodrich (Jamie Goodrich) and their five children, Mason, Logan, and Jadon Goodrich, and Shannon and Shawn Blackwood, along with countless extended family and friends.
Louise had a deep love for Hawaii, often talking about it with a smile that made you feel like you were already there with her. She also cherished her time fishing with her grandchildren — moments filled with laughter, patience, and stories that will be treasured forever. She was truly one of a kind — a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and the very best Nana. She made us laugh, kept us listening with her stories, and showed up for the people she loved. Her presence was a gift, and her memory will live on in every heart she touched.
She is reunited in heaven with her beloved parents, Paul Goodrich Sr. and Dorothy Goodrich, and her sister-in-law Janet Goodrich, who welcomed her home.
In accordance with Louise’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services or calling hours will be held at this time. A celebration of life will take place in the summer, with the date to be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Louise’s memory may consider supporting her family through a GoFundMe page, established by her granddaughter Stephanie Goodrich, to assist with medical, cremation, and memorial expenses.
