Lois Colleen Miles Obituary

Lois C. Miles, 80, of Jordan passed away May 5th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 4, 1941, she was the daughter of Mabel DiRisio Arnold and Ross Arnold. Lois was predeceased by her parents, brother Ross Arnold Jr. and her beloved husband of 50 years Ray A. Miles in 2011. Lois’ greatest joy in life was her family. She was a stay at home mother who volunteered at her children’s school. Later, she worked 20 years as a banquet waitress for Holiday Inn. Lois loved travelling with her husband, hosting holidays and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ray and Lois enjoyed concerts, sporting events, band competitions, dance recitals or any event their grandchildren participated in and rarely missed any. Surviving are son Ray A. Miles II, daughter Diane (Donald) Crowley, sister Patricia (Charles) Williamson, 7 grandchildren Sharon (Eric) McInroy, Jessica (Joshua) Reinhart, Ray A. Miles III, Brian (Jessica) Crowley, Kristin (Kayla) Crowley, Emelia (Mitchell) Pollock and Brandon Crowley, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be 4-7pm Monday, May 9th at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday in St. Patrick’s Church, Jordan. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan. Contributions may be made to

St. Patrick’s Church or the Jordan Ambulance Fund.
