Laszlo Gusztav Gigacz

Laszlo Gusztav Gigacz, 88, of Jordan, NY passed away July 21, 2024. He emigrated from Hungary to the USA in 1957 and served honorably in the United States Army. He was previously married to Melinda Susan Gigacz and was a beloved father to Philip Gigacz and Susan (Matthew) Metz and a beloved grandfather to Megan, David, Danny, and Emily Metz. He was also dearly loved by his Hungarian family, his sister Mihalyne Berenyi and his niece Erzsebet and nephew Gyorgy and their children.  Dad/grandfather/uncle was a very hard working master craftsman who above all was always there for his family. He will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday, August 24, 2024 in St. Patrick Church, Jordan followed by a luncheon for friends and family at the church. There are no calling hours.
