Judith (Brown) Larkin, 83, of Liverpool, NY formerly of Elbridge passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 in the loving care of her daughter where she had been living since moving from her home in Chaumont, NY. Judy was born in Syracuse and resided in Elbridge most of her life until she and her husband Art retired and moved to Chaumont. She was predeceased by her parents Allen and Evelyn Brown and her husband Arthur Larkin. Judy was a member of the Elbridge Fire Department and the Ladies Auxiliary (Past President), Chaumont Fire Department and Ladies Auxiliary, Onondaga County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary, Northern Central Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary (Past President), the Ladies Auxiliary of the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York and had been a member of the Central New York Firemen’s Association Ladies Auxiliary. Judy was an active member of the Elbridge Community Church and served on several committees. She retired as a crossing guard for the Village of Elbridge working at the Elbridge Elementary School. She was the first Village of Elbridge Historian.
Surviving are her children Donna (Rick) Bushnell of Liverpool, Douglas (Kimberly) Larkin of Wingdale, NY, and David Larkin of Jordan, grandchildren Jake Larkin and Abigail Larkin of Wingdale, brother in law and sister in law Walter (Patricia) Larkin of Syracuse, niece Kimberly Larkin of Syracuse, nephews Walter (Priscilla) Larkin of Fairmount, NY and Mark (Maureen) Larkin of Arlington, MA.
Graveside services will be 10am Thursday, Sept. 1st. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rt. 5 West, Elbridge. Contributions may be made to Northside Church, 7965 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090 or Elbridge Volunteer Fire Department.
