Juanita Fae (Daniels) Greene

Juanita Fae Greene, 81, of Memphis (Jacks Reef) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on the 10th of February.  Juanita was born on May 7, 1941 to Lola Mae (Marcela) Kopischki and Donald George Daniels.  Juanita was a graduate of Jordan Central School in 1960, and a member of the Color Guard.  

Juanita was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brother, Neil Walter Daniels.

Juanita is survived by her brother and Irish twin Robert George Daniels Senior, who was her best friend and confidant, and brother Donald Leslie Daniels. She is also survived by her three children, Jeffrey Scott Greene, Jacqueline Danielle Moore (Thomas Ralph Moore), and Jodie Lynn Greene.

She is survived by four amazing grandchildren who she thought the world of, Austin Hunter Moore (Hannah Ivery Moore), Taylor Autumn Greene, Sydney Ireland Moore, and Rachel Madison Greene. Juanita had one great grandson, Wesley Joseph Moore, who was born in August of this past year. He brought her so much joy with his constant smile and laughter. Juanita enjoyed her visits from her grandchildren and many facetimes from whatever area of the world they were located.

Nana, as she was so dearly called by her family, was the rock of us all at Bogie’s Landing and so many of those residing in the Reef. She loved to bake, garden, and enjoyed time by the water. She loved to bird watch and enjoyed singing and dancing to her favorite artist, Elvis Presley. She was a stickler for manners and made us laugh with her “Nana-isms” at times when those manners slipped her by.

She will be so dearly missed by everyone she touched.

Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday 2/15/2023 at Bush Funeral Home, 120 East Main Street, Elbridge, NY from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be in the Kingdom Cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior project.
