Joyce (Hayes) Hefti

On Tuesday, Nov. 17th Joyce Hefti, 77, of Port Byron, loving wife, mother, sister, nan, and grandmother passed away. She was born Jan. 24,1943 in  Chattanooga, TN to Agnes and Gordon Hayes, Sr. On June 18, 1960 she married Hans Hefti (Big Swiss). They raised 4 children. For over 20 years Joyce worked at the Jacks Reef Hotel where she was loved by many and made a lot of cherished memories with all of her friends. Joyce’s passion in life was her family- she loved them all unconditionally with all her heart.

She was predeceased by her son James and mother Agnes.

Surviving are her husband Hans, children Debra Southworth (Walt), Russell Hefti (Megan), and Sherri Huey (David), grandchildren Stephanie Southworth, David Hefti, Anthony Southworth, Melissa Korthas, Joshua Hefti, Craig Amidon, Cassandra Hefti, and several great grandchildren.   

Private graveside services will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Jordan.
