John P. Darling, 68, of Jordan passed away Sunday, August 13th at home. Born in Auburn, John was a life resident of the Jordan area. He was a 1973 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and was an Army veteran. John retired after 30 years with New Process Gear where he was member of UAW Local 624. He was predeceased by his father Gaylord and sister Michele Ann Smith. Surviving are his mother Mildred, sister Donna VanWart, brothers Steve (Dawn), Roger (Tammy), David (Jill), Joe (Jill), Mike (Betty Sue), and Brian (Leslie), brother-in-law Brian Smith, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm Wednesday, August 16th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be 10 am Thursday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan with the Rev. John DeLorenzo officiating.
