Jeffrey W. Ceratt, 72, of Jordan passed away at home May 8th after a 6 month battle with lung cancer.
Jeff was a graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and Onondaga Community College. He was a former police officer and chief of the Jordan Police Department. Jeff owned and operated the Ceratt Auto Electric in Port Bryon for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife Andrea (Sheldon), sons Jeffrey Jr. of Weedsport and Brandon, brother Fritz (Peggy), 2 sisters Cindy (Mike) Wiers and Penny Ceratt (who passed away 17 hours later) all of Jordan, step-son Gerald Nye (Wendy) of Delaware, step-daughter Tammy Stansberry (Rob) of Ohio, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Bud Ceratt, his mother Virginia (Doyle) Ceratt and step-daughter Brenda Bishop.
There will be a Celebration of Life held Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 1-3 at the Jordan Elbridge Community Center, 1 Rt. 31, Jordan, NY
