Jean Guy Lauzon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Guy (John) Lauzon on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Upstate University Hospital at the age of 83.

Jean Guy was born on January 19,1942 in Granby, Quebec to the late Philippe and Bernadette (Barre) Lauzon. Jean Guy resided in Elbridge, NY for more than 35 years.

Jean Guy was a man of multiple traits that included building silos, raising beef cattle, and horse racing. He enjoyed spending time outdoors “fixing things” and riding his motorcycles.

He was predeceased by his parents Philippe and Bernadette, siblings Giselle Roberts, Albert Lauzon, Rolande Bathalon.

Jean Guy is survived by his partner Lucille Landry; children Jennifer LeComte, Donna (Bruce) Eckler, Teresa (Brian) Blank, Eric (Sarah) Landry, Anick (Michael) LaPoint; siblings Germaine Lauzon, Lise Turgeon, Denise Guillemette; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service in Vermont will be at a later date.
