Janet L. (Hotaling) Sheets

Janet L. Sheets, 84, of Auburn formerly of Skaneateles Falls died Sunday, August 23, 2026 in St. Jsoeph’s Hospital. Born in Schroeppel, she was the daughter of Tracy and Beatrice Winks Hotaling. She lived most of her adult life in the Skaneateles area. She was predeceased by her husband James and children Donald, Thomas, Michael and Lauretta. Surviving are two sons Patrick of Wis. and Daniel of Auburn, as well as grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Janet was employed as a home health care provider with At Home Independent Living. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, Sept. 8th in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, Chestnut Street, (Entrance 4) Phoenix, NY with Pastor Bruce Workman officiating.
