James Peter Rusyniak

James P. Rusyniak , a.k.a. Beaner, 70 of Elbridge passed away peacefully with his children at his side. Born in Syracuse, the son of George P. and Mary Nowey Rusyniak, he lived in Elbridge for 46 years. He was a 1968 graduate of West Genesee High School. He was a farmer most of his life, was the manager of Martisco Bean Co., and retired from FedX. Every Sunday he enjoyed reading the paper at the top of the hill on the farm and was a daily customer at the Elbridge restaurant “Macs” where he always had to have his “half and half” and chit chat with the waitresses and friends. He was a collector of coins and model International tractors. Jim was a wonderful father to his children and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his sons, Peter Rusyniak (Heather) and James Rusyniak (Susie), daughter Julie Harrington, sisters Nancy Rusyniak and MaryAnn Caltagirone, grandchildren Peter, Nicole, Grace, Mary, Joseph, Troy,John, Anthony, and Jamie, 2 nephews, a niece, and the mother of his children Mary.
