Howard D. O'Brien

Howard D. O’Brien, 81, of Meridian passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of family. Born in Syracuse, Howie lived most of his life in CNY. He was a truck driver for several years and a former member of the Teamsters Union Local 317. Howie collected antique cars and old tractors and he enjoyed showing them at car shows. He had a great sense of humor.

Surviving are his sister-in-law Hazel O’Brien, 2 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Spring burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Jordan. Contributions may be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY, 41 York St. Auburn 13021.
