On Thursday, January 9, 2020, Howard A. Manley of 4 Burkle St, Oswego, NY was reunited with his loving wife Catherine as well as his loved ones and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on March 3, 1934 the son of Francis and Anna (Leach) of Skaneateles Falls, NY. He was a jack of all trades who was never able to sit still. He was retired from Alltel Telephone Company. He married Catherine P. Manley (Crotty) of Jordan NY in 1956 and they were blessed with 62 years of marriage together raising 8 children. He was a member of the Fulton LIons Club, Fulton Polish Home and Seneca Falls VFW.
He was predeceased by his parents and siblings John, Sally, Ruth Ann, and Alan. In addition, he was predeceased by two daughters, Patricia Steil and Jeanne Case and Great Grandson Jack Bobbett.
He is survived by his children Kathleen Bobbett, James (Kathy) Manley, Monica (Patrick) Snickles, Mary Beth Trask (Jeff Loder), Daniel (Stephanie) Manley and David (Julie) Manley, brother James and sister Agnes as well as eighteen grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 16th at Bush Funeral Home, 120 East Main St, (Rt. 5) Elbridge NY. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John DeLorenzo will be 10am Friday, January 17th in St. Patrick’s Church, 28 North Main Street, Jordan. The Rite of committal and burial will be in St Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles, NY.
