Howard G. Derby, 83, of Jordan passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Howard was born in Auburn  January 8, 1940 and lived most of life in Weedsport. He retired from P&C Foods after 45 years.

Howard is survived by his 6 children, Sue (Bob)Volpe, Howie, Chris Ann (Paul) Bassett, Bernie (Carrie), Marietta and Terry (Eric); sister Carol Dailey and brother Charles Derby; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  

He was predeceased by his parents Leland and Marion Derby; brothers, Leland and Richard; and sister, Barbara Bracknell; spouse Peggy and his beloved dog Sadie.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3pm Saturday, September 16, with services to follow at 3 pm at Bush Funeral Home, 120 E Main St, Elbridge with the Rev. Thomas Bell officiating.
