Harriett L. Cornell, 84, of Lyncourt NY passed away Thursday, November 23 at Morning Star Residential Care Center.  Born in Memphis New York she was a graduate of Jordan Elbridge High School and went on to receive a degree in human services. Harriet selflessly devoted 40 years of her life to helping others as an Onondaga County Case Worker.
Harriett was pre-deceased by her mother and Father, Elloise and Lyman Cornell, Brother, Robert Cornell, Sister, Barbara Smart and Brother in laws, James Smart and Eugene Nichols.
Harriet leaves behind Brothers, Raymond (Patricia) Cornell, Lyman (Jan) Cornell, Ronald (Cheryl) Cornell, Sisters Nancy Woodhams, Mary Nichols, Cousin, Mary Bartoszewski, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Harriet will forever be remembered for her tremendous heart, keen sense of humor, devotion to family, selflessness and love of animals.
A Visitation will be held on December 5th from 9:15 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Daniel Catholic Church located on 3004 Court Street, Lyncourt  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery
