Harold L. Meaker, 76, of Jordan was called home by our Lord the evening of Nov.14, 2019. A native and life resident of the Jordan area, Harold was a 1961 graduate of Jordan High School. Being the son of a dairy farmer kept him busy during his early years. Later he worked for the Town of Elbridge Highway Dept., D.W. Winkleman Construction Co., and he retired from the Village of Jordan DPW after 27 years of service. Harold loved to fish and hunt. He was proud of his long time membership in the Jordan Vol. Fire Dept. and was currently an exempt member. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Ruth Meaker, and brother Raymond and wife Dorothy Meaker.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra, his daughters Kristin (David) Heath and Susan (David) Field, and the loves of his life, his grandchildren Alexis, Megan, Jacob, and Justin.

Calling hours will be 3-6pm Wed., Nov. 20th at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge with a service to follow at 6pm. Graveside services will be 11am Thursday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Jordan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jordan Vol. Fire Dept. 1 N. Hamilton St. Jordan 13080
