Gerard Patrick Mannion

Gerard (Jerry) Patrick Mannion, 69 years old, of Memphis, New York, passed away on January 29th, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

Jerry graduated high school from Jordan-Elbridge in 1974 and then went on to college at Syracuse University. Jerry spent most of his life working as a mason but always made sure to make time for his family.  Jerry was a loving father to his children, a great friend, and well known for being extremely caring and always willing to help. He was never afraid to take the lead on a project (even if it wasn’t his). Jerry was an avid outdoorsman as he enjoyed spending time playing golf, boating, hunting and fishing. 

Jerry is survived by his five children, Sarah Tryon, Jesse Mannion, Shane Mannion, Anthony Napolitano (Jamie), and Tiffany Hickey; his grandchildren, Shayla, Madison, and Ryleigh Breckheimer; his brothers and sisters, Anne Lynn (William “Wink”), Joseph Mannion (Mary), Kevin “Moon” Mannion (Renee), and Erin Pettitt (Christopher); along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rosemary “June” Mannion, and brother Brian Mannion. 

Calling hours will be held at the Elbridge Community Church (Brick Building) 109 E. Main St, Elbridge from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm on Friday, February 20th, 2026. A Catholic Mass will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, at 11:00am, located at 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, NY 13219. Charitable donations can be made to American Cancer Society, a cause close to Jerry’s heart, or Holy Family Church, Jerry’s parish
