Gerald T. Williams, 76, of Jordan, NY died Wednesday at home after a brief illness. He was surrounded by loved ones. Jerry attended Auburn Community College and was drafted into the Army and served in Vietnam. He retired as Head Operator of the Onondaga County Dept. of Water Environmental Protection. He had a passion for music, antiquing, and refinishing furniture as well as being an avid NASCAR racing fan.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, his children Jason and Timothy (Candace,), his 2 grandchildren Timothy J. and Memphis. His extended family Kathi, (Dave, son Benjamin), Charles, and Michael, (Sue, son Christopher, daughters Kassie and Jayme), brother Kenneth (Rosemary), with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He predeceased by his infant daughter Erin, sister Kathy Virginia, and parents.
He will be remembered by many friends and family as a very kind, gentle, and generous soul.
Calling hours will be from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Jordan United Methodist Church, 63 Elbridge St. Jordan. A celebration of life to follow at 3:00 pm. Internment in Maple Grove Cemetery at later date. Contributions may be made to the Jordan-Elbridge Food Pantry.
