Gerald L. Phillips, 82, of Liverpool passed away Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, Gerald was a life resident of CNY. He was a tugboat captain with the NYS Canal System for several years and was an avid fisherman and hunter. His wife Norma passed away June 22, 2023. Surviving are 3 sons James Corwin, Wayne Popluhar and Douglas Popluhar, 4 daughters Shari June, Darlene Puckett, Cindy Bryant and Nancy Corwin, 2 sisters Jean Smith and Esther Phiripes, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Thursday, Oct 26th at Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt.5) Elbridge. Graveside services will be Noon Friday in Lake View Cemetery, Skaneateles.
