Francis (FranK) P. Gunnip

Francis "Frank" P. Gunnip, 82, of Jordan, passed away August 14, 2020. He is survived by his wife Hildegard , sons Frank (Treva), Fred, Jim (Liz), daughter Bridgette (Grant) Regets, son-in-law John Stevenson, sisters Barbara Jean McDermott and Dorothy Anne Perry, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Patty, and siblings Dick, George, Bob, Chuck, Jerry, Bill, John, Virginia, and Mary. Frank grew up on the Westside of Syracuse. He served in the Army from 1954-1958. While in the service, he traveled all over Europe, where he met his wife in Schweinfurt, Germany. Frank worked for Pass & Seymour for 35 years, and Anoplate for 7 years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, reading war novels, and had a love for sweets. There will be no calling hours due to COVID. A Catholic Mass and burial will be at a later date. Donations can be made to the J-E Ecumenical Food Pantry, P.O. Box 567, Jordan, NY 13080.
