Ethel Ebling, 91, of Jordan passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2021. Family members were at her side.  Ethel is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Craig) Miller and four grandchildren, Charles (Amy) Trexler, Kevin (Mary) Trexler, Carrie (Jason) Mocyk and Katie Powers.  She was also Gigi to nine great-grandchildren.  Ethel was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Bergan County until she moved to the Syracuse area in 1977 to be with family.  As a secretary for 50+years, she was most recently employed at The Inn of the Seasons, until April 2021.  Ethel was generous with her time and her compassion, volunteering for organizations such as Red Cross and the Learning Center. She was also very active within the Jordan-Elbridge Community and the Jordan United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will be held at the Jordan United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 30 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon in her honor.  Donations may be made to the Jordan Ambulance and the Jordan Bramley Library.
