Ernestine L. Parry, 97, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 at the Syracuse Home after a long illness. Born in Syracuse she was the daughter of Ernest and Cecile Marshall.  She was the widow of Ralph Parry who died in 1997. Ernestine was a graduate of Baldwinsville Academy and she and her husband operated a farm in Van Buren for several years. Ernestine also was a bus driver for the Jordan Elbridge School District for 17 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Jordan United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Ernest R. Parry who died  in 2002.

Surviving are a daughter Gwen Parry Stell, two grandchildren Marc (Tori Bean) Stell and Meghan (Jesse) Futterleib, 2 great grandchildren, a sister Joyce (John) Bowman, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.

 The family wishes to express its deep appreciation to the Syracuse Home staff for the outstanding care and friendship provided Ernestine. “Thank you” is beyond words. Contributions may be made to the Syracuse Home or the Alzheimer’s Association.
