Elsie H. Rasmussen, 100, passed away on January 14, 2026 at Elderwood of Liverpool after a gradual decline in health. She was born on January 22, 1925 in Brooklyn NY to her late parents Dagney (Jacobsen) and John W. Skoglund. She spent many years in Chittenango and in Jordan, NY. Elsie was survived by two sons Eric Rasmussen (Sarah) of Baldwinsville, NY and Michael Rasmussen of Clarksdale, Az and two daughters Susan (Douglas) Taylor of Kirkville, NY and Peggy  (Michael) Mirra of Baldwinsville, NY. She cherished her Granddaughters, Christine Hayes (William) and Jill Casey, as well as her Great Grandchildren, Andy and Jason Hayes and Kayleigh Casey. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Rasmussen, her son John Rasmussen and her brother Theodore Skoglund. Elsie enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing cards and word games. She was well versed in budgets and organization, as well as a devoted homemaker. She will be greatly missed by her family. Private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango, NY
