Elizabeth "Betty" Loerzel

Elizabeth “Betty” C. (Ashmore) Loerzel, 88, of Jordan NY passed on November 10, 2024 at her home. Born on April 27, 1936 in Russellville, AK, Betty was the daughter of Glen and Opal Ashmore. Betty was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Walter Loerzel.

Betty was a loving mother and grandmother with a family that cherished and admired her. She worked hard to provide for her family alongside her husband. Betty was a sewing enthusiast who loved to read. Her hospitality was a reflection of her loving nature, a large helping of a delicious home cooked meal or dessert was waiting for anyone who visited. Known for her humor, authenticity and strength, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Richard, Ronald (Mary), Mark (Denise), her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Diane (Robert).

In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time.
