Eleanor B. (Blum) Macvicz

Eleanor B. Macvicz, 88 of Debary, FL, formerly of Elbridge, passed away Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 at Halifax Hospice, Orange City, FL. She was born in Bronx to the late Henry & Elizabeth (Munz) Blum. Eleanor relocated to country living in Altmar, NY. Later she lived in Fairmount and Jordan before moving to Elbridge in 1986. During her years of life, she became a WAVE, CNA, LPN and reading tutor to children in Auburn and Port St. Lucie, FL. Eleanor was formerly employed at Home Aides of Onondaga County and Van Duyn Home before retiring in 1996.

She was predeceased in 1996 by her husband Donald C. Macvicz.

Surviving are a daughter Elizabeth (Macvicz) Mays of Debary, a son Donald (Beth Hunt) Macvicz of Elbridge, her sister Ruth Fonda of Baldwinsville, granddaughters Taylor & Maritza Mays, grandson Brandon Macvicz, great granddaughter Elicia Ayala-Cruz, several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Private graveside services will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
